Hi Danielle, Thanks for your note about farm-sitting, and apologies for taking so long to get back to you. As you probably have guessed, that time frame unfortunately does not work for us. We have our wedding next weekend and then my husband has finals at George Mason for the following week, so we are busy and tied to home right now! Maybe another opportunity will present itself? We will both be free all of August (as I will be on maternity leave), if you are planning any trips then. Thanks for thinking of me! Best, Anne
We are a family of five: myself, my husband and our three children, ages 11, 10 and 9, homesteading on 5.25 acres in the Northwestern Mountain Region of Maryland (zone 6b). Our land is home to many creatures, and our goals are to farm sustainably, to preserve biodiversity by growing heirloom plants and raising rare breeds of livestock and poultry, and to foster native habitats. The kids and I run a small CSA, which keeps us busy learning and playing.

I love it! Funny - I have a family member who is not by any means green & just bought a used version of that car.
